1. Camera and image processing
Pill Counter analyzes the camera view so it can detect and count pills and tablets. Image processing is designed to happen on your device when possible.
If a feature requires temporary server-side processing, the image is used only for that request and is not kept longer than needed to complete the analysis.
2. Count history and local storage
Count history, app preferences, and similar workflow data are intended to stay on your device unless you choose to export or share them.
If you save a result to your Photos library, that copy is managed by Apple's Photos permissions and storage behavior on your device.
3. Analytics and diagnostics
We may collect anonymous usage events, crash reports, and performance diagnostics to improve reliability, understand feature usage, and fix problems in the app.
These analytics are meant to describe app behavior, not the contents of your camera images or the pill details inside a specific count.
4. Third-party services
Pill Counter may rely on third-party services such as Apple for App Store distribution, purchases, subscriptions, and device-level permissions. Analytics or infrastructure providers may also process limited data on our behalf.
Those services operate under their own terms and privacy policies.
5. Security and data handling
Reasonable technical and organizational measures are used to protect data related to the app. When data is transmitted, it is intended to be sent using secure transport.
Data stored locally on your device is also subject to the security settings, protections, and backup behavior of that device and your Apple account.
6. Your choices
You can manage camera and Photos permissions through iOS or iPadOS settings. You can also remove local app data by deleting history inside the app where available or uninstalling the app from your device.
